     The Crossed Chisels team reviewed the contemporary craftsman elements throughout the house, then came up with a beautiful yet space-efficient quartersawn oak cellar design with raised peg joinery and natural arches throughout. There is a cunning (and hidden) LED lighting system and an attractive diversity of storage and display options here for different bottle types up to ~750 bottles. It is a functional space with a job to do, yet harmonious and natural.
     Throughout the design, build and installation process, the Crossed Chisels folks were professional and timely. They evolved a great design that is consistent with the rest of the home, yet distinct. Most of all, they did beautiful, classic work that will last. It is my favorite part of the house. " ​
